I have a Mitsubishi Plus 91 19" monitor and the bottom left and right corners are slightly tinted. The left corner is a greenish color along the edge, and the right corner is a bluish color. When I change the horizontal size, the colors seem to move with the desktop, staying at the edge of the picture. I've changed background patters, but that doesn't seem to do anything. The left corner has been like this for a little while now, but I just noticed the right side today. I've had the monitor for about two months now. Any suggestions on what may be causing this, and how to fix it?

Hello! It sounds like it could be magnetic interference with the monitor, i've seen some monitors which have those strange fields of color even when nothing generating a field is around it, possibly some internal sheilding that is not in place correctly? Can you de-Gauss the monitor and see what happens? :-)

oh yeah, also, check to make sure there's nothing around the monitor like speakers that are not sheilded. Even if they are stated to be sheilded, check anyway, i had a pair of Cambridge PCWorks that after a few months began to give off magnetic fields and mess up my Sony trinitron. :-)

I degaussed it and the colors are still there. I made sure to set up my speakers (when I first got them) away from the monitor. They are just over a foot away. That should be far enough, right? They are Altec Lansing ACS54 speakers. There isn't anything else next to the monitor except the computer, which is about 6 inches to the left of it.
