I'm looking to purchase one of those awesome-looking VST hard drives. I was wondering if anyone has replaced the hard drive inside the slim FireWire/FireWire and USB hard drives successfully.

Technically, this should work. I could buy any old 2.5-inch mobile IDE hard drive and place it in the enclosure, right? By the way, the drive is one of those 2.5-inch hard drives, right?

The IBM Travelstar 32GH is the drive I'm looking to put in the external case.

Thanks for your help in advance, all!
