I am using Toast 4.1.2 with a Sony USB CDR-W model CR-120 (or someting like that). Since installing OS 9.1, Toast cannot locate the CD burner. Neither can iTunes.

Any ideas?

Hm... try installing the USB drivers again. Do you have the latest version of them installed?
Also, try removing the iTunes "Authoring support" extension, which conflicts with Toast.
