I order "the ball" today. I wanted something BT and something better than this darn Kensington I am using today. I will post a review after a few days of use. It looks exactly like what I have been looking for.

I'll be interested in reading your review. I had searched for a BT trackball, and the one you found is the only one I found also. I had also read posts that the company that makes it has had problms with their products in the past, so I basically went into a wait and see mode...

My first impression is that the cursor is jumpy. I charrged it and am trying to use it now. I am about 5ft from my Powerbook, so it may be a range issue. Once I get some more use, I will give you a full review.

I'm also very curious to hear how it works for you.
Is the scroll wheel ratchetted or does it turn without clicks? The reason I'm asking is that I'm used to a scroll wheel that does page-up and page down with one click of the scroll wheel. Macally seems to be the only mfg that has implemented this in software. Everybody else seems to use incremental scrolling, where one click up or down of the wheel moves the page only one line--which is very time-consuming on long docs.
Also, how ergonomic is the design for you? Any hand fatigue/pain from reaching around the ball to get to the scroll wheel?

Look like its the same company that makes the "The Mouse" that the Jack Campbell companies used to sell. Can't remember what they were called....

I too have a "Ball". If you search thru my posts you'll find my review of it. Basically to get the cursor to stop being so jumpy I had to take a black sharpe marker and "blacken" the entire ball. There's no black dots on the ball as there are on my Logitech Trackball. Its a messy process and it works. And don't think its permanent, you'll need to touch it up every two weeks or so.
