I've been looking for an all in one printer for awhile now, and think I might have settled on this one.

The one thing holding me back is, I've seen all in one network printers that can do scanning/faxing over the network on PCs, but on the Mac side, it doesn't always work out.

Does anyone know if this printer (or another suggestion in the $200 before taxes range) can do proper network printing/faxing and scanning?

I was really skeptical of Brothers printers at first, UNTIL I BOUGHT ONE! I'm very pleased with their products (I've bought the 5440CN and the 420CN)! Much more than the canon/epson/HPs that I had.

You can check the ink levels over the network, and their Mac support is directly on par with the Windows support! ALL the features that are enabled on the windows PCs can be used on the Mac. (manufacturers normally cut out windows features for the Mac on the same printers). Scanning over the network to a Mac for instance.

The printer is not the best looking, but functionally, it's awesome! please ask if any other questions
