As a I posted in the other misplaced thread.

If your powerbook has usb2 then yes. go to elgato.com and download the pdf with instructions for a clear explanation of the devices limitations and capabilities.

it probably doesn't list the product because it was only out for a few months before being discontinued. It was replaced with the eyetv EZ or something similar. What I would do is a) email them and ask them what to do b) select one of the other usb based products and see if it works.

I use the ATi Wonder on my 12" PB. I think to use the ATi Wonder on a Mac with Elgato software, you need to input a key code, something not required with the Elgato hardware (200, 500, etc). Do you have the CD that came with the ATi? I think the key code was on it....but can't remember for sure...I'll look to see if I can find the CD and info that came with mine...

Yes, you can use this. I have it and it works wonderfully. However, I purchased my eyeTV Wonder from ElGato directly (I don't see it on their website anymore). My EyeTV Wonder came with the ElGato software. I am wondering if you bought the PC version that comes w/o Mac software.

If you did, then you will need to purchase the EyeTV software from ElGato (I think it's about $49). This will allow your system to work. From what I recall, the EyeTV Wonder was an option in the setup menu when using the ElGato software. If it is not an option, you may need to contact ElGato for support. Of course this implies you are using a legit copy of their software.

Peace,

I have the EyeTV Wonder USB2.0, and yes, it works fine. I use it on my 1.5GHz 12" PB. You can watch live TV at the full normal broacast of 720x480, but recoding is only at 352x240. You can record at higher resolution if you have a dual processor PowerMac. For me, the 352x240 resolution for recordings is still quite acceptable.

Again, the EyeTV Wonder required me to use an activation code, which came with the CD. There was a thread about a year ago discussing this http://forums.macnn.com/showthread.p...ferrerid=41368
