I am looking into buying a new HD for my G4 500mhz. I will be doing lots of video editing and am wondering what are my options. Where can I read up on this? Or can you help...?
Thanks
Do or do not.... there is NO try.

If you are going to use it for video editing and stuff, it has to be fast...
I suggest the IBM 75GXP drives - they are as fast as they come.
ATA/100, 7200 rpm, big buffer - best on the market.
Range in size from 30 gigs up to 75, I believe...
If you want comparisons and stuff, check www.xlr8yourmac.com - I'm sure they'll have what you're after.

I totally agree - IBM makes some of the best Ultra-ATA drives around now.
