I have a number of devices that charge via a usb cable (usb to mini-usb). I can obviously connect them to my powerbook and charge them that way, however, I also have a wall charged that has a mini-usb tip on the end. Would I be able to charge all my devices using this wall charger instead of the powerbook? i.e. Do all devices that charge by usb do so at the same current/voltage?

I don't want to blow any of my devices so am not game to try it unless I know for sure.

USB is USB: 5VDC is provided as part of the USB standard, so as long as the wall charger is from some reliable source (not "Bob's Chargers and Storm Door Co.") you should be able to trust it to do the job.

I particularly like using a wall charger for most of my devices because my iBook sleeps a lot-and of course doesn't charge anything while asleep. Further, wall chargers are often much faster at charging devices than a USB port is.
