Seagate always seems to come out with the biggest drives first. Now the maximum is 180GB. Jeez.

Very cool but I don't know too many people that would dish out the $4k for it. It is supposed to be very fast and quiet too.

IIRC, the price I saw was something like $2100 or so.

I wish there were higher capacity backup solutions... using a dozen tapes or 50 CDs isn't my idea of fun.

Take a look at Seagate's web site. They've got a tape device which stores well over 100GB native, twice that compressed. It's a start.
