Hi all!

I bought a Mac Mini about a month ago and I've been trying to get my Lexmark Z612 to work with it. At the time of purchase I didn' t have ink in the printer so I didn't get a chance to test it out. Then I bought a new cartridge and found that it simply won't budge.

Things I've done:

1. Checked all the cables, tried different USB ports
2. Installed drivers from the Lexmark website for the Z600 series printers because although Mac detected the printer fine it didn't print

After installing the drivers, nothing changed. When I want to print something, the job is sent to the queue, the printer turns on, but then an exclamation mark shows up next to the printer icon in the dock and restarting the job has the same effect.

Any ideas on how I can get this thing to work? I'm about to scrap it for a new one. I should mention that it did work under Linux and Windows.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
