I'm wondering if anyone has tried to hook the iPod up to the car tape mechanism that comes with a sony discman or other car discmans. I can't see a reason why this woundn't work but there might be some problems.
Yup. Works fine. I bought a 3rd party cheap one and it even works really well. Anything with a mini-stereo Plug will work. I've got a cord going from my iPod to my stereo's microphone input so I can play a playlist when I go to sleep (and the sleep timer's great!)
