I have a question about the iPod. I was wondering if you have over 5GB of music and want to transfer the music manually onto the iPod, can you drag a playlist over and have all the songs on the playlist transfer to the iPod automaticly, or do you need to manually transfer all the songs that might be on your playlist over? Thanks for any info!

if you have the ipod prefs in itunes set to 'manually manage songs and playlists'

then if you drag a playlist from itunes to the ipod it will transfer all the associated songs automatically, pretty slick. and if you have the same song in 2 different playlists it knows not to copy the song a 2nd time.

That is fantastic. My iPod is supposed to be here Friday. I have spent 5 days now making playlist for every artist and cleaning up the names, songs, etc so it all looks uniform.

When I show off the iPod at work I want the songs and list to look great.
