Are there any companies selling USB DSL modems for mac? Efficiant Networks (www.efficiantnetwork.com) produces a modem, and states on it's website that it has mac drivers on the way, I called them, and they said they dont know when they will be availalbe, and they said that you can't buy directly throught them. You need to get it through an ISP. 2wire (www.2wire.com) has a mac comaptable USB DSL "thing" (mdoem, router, firewall, the whole bit) that is now availbale. but that seems kinda pricy for a DSL modem. The whole reaseon I am looking for a USB DSL modem, so so that I can have my iMac as an internet server (router) for my lan. I would need 2 network ports on it if I were to use a regular DSL modem, but the iMac only has one. Are there any Mac compatable USB to Ethernet adapters yet? what about firewire to ethernet? Any ideas?
