Mmmm, I'm not sure If I an internal hard drive is classed as a peripheral. Is it?

Anyway, has anyone had any experience with Samsung hard drives? The model I'm interested in is the Samsung IDE 40gb UATA100 5400rpm 9.0ms 512k (Manuf.Part No.: SV4084H (SV4003H)

They're supposed to be very quiet, which is the reason for my interest. If get it, it will reside in my iMac DVSE 400mhz, 256mb, OS9.1... Thanks in advance!
