Sony has so many cool peripherals out there but many do not include Apple drivers.

How does Jobs persuade Sony to write Mac drivers for their products when Sony is going after the same digital lifestyle devices market?

Sony also makes PCs.

They would be stupid to 'sleep with the enemy', or write drivers and support for Mac computers. It may cannibalize sales of their own PC products.

That said, I happen to think that Apple's offerings are horribly superior in almost every regard.

I guess that's why Apple is now making digital devices like the iPod. Sony has an incredible level of integration with their own digital devices just like Apple with their OS. Apple recognizes that, and is now going that direction.
