I have a new HP PSC 950. This is HP's new, supposedly Mac OS X compliant, all-in-one.
Installation went (seemingly) without a hitch. Restarted.
First odd thing: HP print set up did not start. Second odd thing: Print Director gives the error message 'shared memory service not created yet". Third odd thing: no printers appearing in the Print Center.
Help file from HP says that you should chose AIO Print in the Add Printer box. However, the 950 does not appear in order to select it.
Is this a "permissions" thing? During the installation I used the administrator login name/password, though...
Fourth odd thing: there is a plist file appearinng in a place that you dont usually find preference files (it is located in the root folder not in the pref folder).
Can anybody tell how to fix this?
Thnx very very much.
