I just bought a 550 powerbook after being on pcs all my life, and IT'S GREAT!!! Anyways, I'm looking at getting a good pair of speakers that won't break the bank. The harmon soundsticks are great but way too expensive for me. Any suggestions?
I bought computer speakers from Bose and they are terrific. They're about 90 bucks and the sound is crisp and clear. I just bought a little television for my bedroom and bought another pair just because they put out a lot of great sound for so little money. And you can't go wrong with Bose..
I have the Soundsticks with subwoofer and love them. If they are a little too expensive for you then have a look on ebay auctions as I've sometimes seen them go there for about half the normal price. Also look around for online deals. I got mine around £25 ($50) cheaper than the list price.
