I'm pretty upset about Diamond MM only releasing the firmware updater for the Rio500 player for Windoze only. Diamond MM's recommendation for Mac users: find a PC and perform the update there. Making matters worse, I do not believe the updater will work using Virtual PC (Win 98) or Softwindows 98. I have tried the former many, many times and cannot get the updater to "see" the player. Hopefully, other Mac/Rio owners will see this posting and send a message to Diamond (as I did) via their tech support email form: http://www.s3.com/customer_caretechn...portRioRio.htm
