I have a 17" Apple ColorSync monitor w/ an ATI Rage 128 card connected to a G3/333 w/ 320MB RAM running OS 9.0.4

The monitor has become blurry althought the colors are still great. i have tried all software calibrations, but my text remains blurry (at 1024x768).

Any suggestions on how to sharpen the focus?

I had the same problem, and Apple replace some parts inside. If it's still on warranty try to call a support centre.
