Does anyone know which portable MP3 players are best for USB Macs? I have been doing research and think the Diamond Rio 500 is best so far. Does anyone know anything better. How about the Sonys. They say Windows 98, but is it like the Digital Cameras on macs; you can just plug in, and have them appear as disks ? What's up with the copy protection on the Sony ? Anyone have a MP3 player which they think is great and why ?

Thanks

If you have a CD burner, I recommend a player such as the Genica MP3/CD player (look at mp3.com). It has the ability to play CDs and ISO CD-ROMs with MP3s on them (My brother has an MP3 CD which comes up with 121 tracks!)

I had a Rio 500 but i returned it because it didn't hold enough. The mp3/cd player is the way to go. I saw one for $120, that is half the price of the Rio. You can get a decent burner and a mp3/cd player for around $320. I think I'm going to pick one up.

I looked at the cd mp3 players which is cool , but I want something small and shock proof, although i'm thinking about getting a mp3 cd player for home.
