Has anyone here used the Brother DCP-1200? It is a Digital Laser Printer and Copier. It also has a scanner function, but I am unsure of the quality. Is it a good piece of equipment?

Don't know about that model. But Macworld rated the Brother HL-1270N as the best of the laser printers they tested in August. So my guess is that Brother has some good things going.

Brother has always made some great printer products. However, a couple of issues may pertain here. One of the most important issues is obviously if you are going to be using OSX. Does this printer have OSX support or when will it have such support????? Also check the toner cost for replaceables???? And is it only a toner that it needs???? I got burned on at least one laser that required other than and including a toner replacement. Just thought I might add these two points.

I have a G55 HP which is last years HP scanner, printer, and copier. It's been great for me. Yeap, cartridges run me about $130.00 a week but, then that is a business expense.
