As many of you know, the new iMacs, PowerMacs and 2000 iBooks don't have DVD-ROMs anymore.
Does anyone know of any external DVD-ROMs that work? I have seen very few Firewire DVD-ROMs around. I'm curious to know what internal IDE DVD-ROMs work on Macs? I was thinking about using an internal IDE DVD-ROM in a firewire (converter) case.
Any ideas anyone?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

I think it might just be cheaper to get one at Best Buy and hook it up to your TV I don't really know of any on the market, I supposed you could get one of those DVD Superdrives (Pioneer?) that they're making, but I thought they were ridiculously priced.
