For some odd reason, whenever I plug my IntelliMouse into my AGP G4 the red light flashes on an off four times at the rate of about 1 flash a second, does one more quick half-flash, and repeats. The mous works fine on my iMac 333 and a *shudder* PentiumIII PC. This just cropped up out of the blue. Tried everything I can think of. Any help?

What's your USB topography? Do you have it plugged directly into the G4's USB port? Into the keyboard? A hub? A powered hub? There might not be enough current to power the mouse and other devices on the same chain. Then again, you may have a bad USB connector.

mine does this thing were about every 4 times I startup, the port it's plugged into on the unpowered hub flashes, and the mouse doesn't work. If i unplug it and plug it back in, it works fine. I would plug it into the keyboard but it's cord is way too long.

I'm guess it's drawing too much power, but I don't have any spare power plugs to plug in the hub's power brick.

Well, it fails to work on the powered hub, keyboard, or directly attached to the USB port.

I recently had the friggin motherboard and processor replaced on this thing, and I really don't want to have it spend another week in the shop...
