I am looking to replace my iPod headphones with another set (earbuds of any type really hurt my ears). The cans I am looking at require like 6-10 mV to drive them. The iPod's specs list the output of the internal amp at 60mW. Being a hardware and electronics ignoramus :o I have no idea if that will drive these or not.

Any help from my engineeringly-minded brethren or sisters would be helpful.

Well, oops! Turns out the headphones are rated mW too! My bad. The iPod will drive 'em just fine.
