There is a small network of macs. One has an epson stylus 4000, with print sharing turned on, and nother has a small epson stylus r320, also shared. All computers have drivers for both installed, yet printing is all messed up. Most of the time, but not always, when you print from illustrator, the print queue in OS X will stop, and nothing will print. No error or messages at all, it just stops. I can't find any sort of log or error message etc. The problems are intermittenet but happen about 80-90% of the time. I installed all the newest drivers off the internet but that seemed to have no effect. Even not using the sharing, and printing from illustrator from the machine it was plugged in to, I'd get the same issue. Super annoying. The R320 wasn't in the gimp-print that came with 10, and I couldn't install a newer version since the lame firewall at this place blocks sourceforge (and macupdate!!!). Printing from non-adobe apps seemed to work ok, though I didn't test that extensively, since this is a graphics office and printing from adobe apps are 90% of what they do.
I told the girl, next time get an HP color laser jet with a network card built in :-)
