I have a Wacom XD1212USB INTUOS2 12X12 USB TABLET, and I am unable to get it working on my 2GHz DP G5 running the most up to date OS X 10.4.5. It just stopped working at some point I was unaware of (since I use it intermittently)
I followed the instructions at Wacom's website to no avail.
If there is no driver installed at all, the pen works on the tablet almost in a mouse mode, but it is not adjustable and it is rough.
If I install the upgraded driver, it will not work at all. If I unplug the tablet and plug it back in, the pen works for about a second or two then stops working completely.
The tablet works fine on my 17" laptop.
The tablet works fine if I plug it into my G5 DP, and boot the Laptop through target disk mode on the G5.
So, it appears it is software related. I have removed every single scrap of everything named intuos, tablet and Wacom that I could find. I am desperate now, as I have been without my tablet for months, and don't want to reinstall OS X.
If anyone can please help me out, I would be very grateful.
