Fellow Macnners,
I:m on a trip to Japan and have seen the greatest mp3 player. Suffice it to say, it is basically nothing more than a set of headphones. But, the package and store employees claim that it is not mac compatible. The model is listed in the subject. Im wondering if anyone knows if it is compatible with itunes and just doesn:t come with mac software, if one can connect it with Virtual PC, or if there is simply no way to connect it to mac hardware (it uses a USB interface)

thanks,
Max

Sony offers no native Mac support for any of their products.
I have a music clip mp3 player from Sony and I was really pissed off by this lack of support. Anyhow, VPC should work, but make sure you have the new OpenMG software installed as the older versions required you to re-encode the music files and that took hell of a time on VPC.

Not a hope. Sony worry too much about protecting the Music. I'd love for nothing more than mac support for their amazing network walkmans, but it just wont happen.

I can't get my network memstick walkman working through VPC either.
Ben.
