Hello-
Could someone recommend wireless security cameras that are Macintosh compatible? I have a Powerbook G4 (with EVDO card from Verizon) that I would like to use to remotely view my house when I am away (which is often).
At home I have a G5 iMac, an Airport Extreme and an Airport Express. Ideally I would like a camera (or, preferably, cameras) that can wirelessly connect to my Airport network and have its own web address for me to access remotely from my laptop.
I have researched this as best I can on the internet, but most such systems appear either incompatible with Macintosh or involve a complicated set-up that requires a PC at first but can then be used on a Macintosh system.
I have used Macs for many years, but I am by no means an expert. It took me several weekends to get my airport express to communicate with my airport extreme, but now my home network works really well. My point is that i can handle installing a product that supports Macintosh but I really question my ability to install a product that will require a hack or a modification.
Isn't there a wireless camera system fully compatible with Macintosh?
Thanks so much in advance,
Mike
