I've used the pro keyboard with Win 98 and didn't need any special driver. I'd imagine 2000, ME, and XP are the same.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!!! You have no idea happy you've made me! Now I don't have to deal a PC keyboard (makes the KVM really worthwile)! I'm hoping that the Apple mouse works too... I know I won't have a right click, but hey, style comes at a price

Not by choice, of course!

Two of my courses require the use of Windows-based VDHL software; there are no Mac counterparts, and I've pushed for a Unix/GNU counterpart (OS X being BSD and all), but to no avail. And, the final insult was when the program didn't like being inside VirtualPC (more like: refused to run in a VPC); so I (regretfully and shamefully) buckled & bought a cheap $200 Deceleron Box and a KVM to share my current 19" monitor and Apple KB/Mouse.

Don't worry, though... I made sure of a couple of things:
1) The box is as boring (& beige) as possible (I didn't want my QuickSilver to get jealous... believe me, this wasn't hard to do...)
2) This thing is just about as stripped down as a computer can get...
3) Doesn't have Windows on it; I'm not giving M$ more money than I need to! I'm uninstalling VPC, and using the copy of Win98 that came with it to run the Deceleron box; this is not a violation of the licence agreement (otherwise I wouldn't be bragging about it) since I'm only using one licence (on the PC).

Life is hard; C'est la vie...
