Does anyone know if the Apple Cinema Display will work with Hardware other that the G4?

Here is my situation. I am in position that requires the use of mulitple OS's (MacOS, Windoze, Linux, etc) and am trying to convince my wife the need of the Cinema Display. I have approval if I consolidate my monitors to one. So I need to know if this will work. I have a feeling that it will since I just did a test with the 21" Apple Studio Display that has USB...

If anyone has experience, I would surely appreciate any info...

thanks,

chris

The Cinema display uses a digital flat panel connection. It can be found on cards available for the PC side of things.

However, right now Apple requires that you buy a whole G4 to get your hands on a Cinema Display. As LCD yields go up, that will change, but if you want one right now, it comes attached to a brand new computer...
