Is the announcement being streamed live somewhere? I haven't seen a reference to that anywhere.

I don't think it is being broadcast/streamed. The event tomorrow is a special press event -- only a handful of writers/reporters are invited. We'll have to reply on them to get the details online.

Are the usual "rapid-fire" news sites like MacNN in on it?

This is what ThinkSecret had to say last Thursday...

"Speculation is high that the event, to take place 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Apple's Cupertino campus, will be broadcast via satellite and via QuickTime streaming."

I haven't seen anything about this since, but ThinkSecret's main page says they're working on new info.... whatever that means.

My guess is that we'd know by now if this was going to be webcast.
