PCI expander in old case?

I saw an article in an old MacAddict magazine that describes how to take an old computer case, or use new parts in a new case (with a power supply), to make a PCI expander box.

I've got an old PowerComputing box that I'd like to use as a PCI expander, and to hold some extra internal hard drives.

Does anyone have that article? I can't get MacAddict to respond to my requests to buy the back issue. Or, as an alternative, if you have information of your own on how to build a PCI expander box, I'd love to know how to use this case and expand my Mac. Thanks!

I saw that story as well, but it was not on making a PCI expansion case. It was talking about turning a PC case into a SCSI box.

I don't know how to make a PCI expansion case, but I am pretty sure that is beyond the scope of most Mac Addict readers.

I know you can buy PCI expansion cases, but you would have to fork out a big chunk of change. Around $1,300.00 bucks!
