hi,

i've installed an internal 160 gb samsung sp1614n hard disk (7.200 rpm, version TM100-24, serial # S016J10X537319) quite some time ago in a g4 sawtooth (which actually reduced the drive's capacity to the well known 127.87 gb barrier inherent in the g4 macs)

now that i'm moving up to a g4 quicksilver 733 w/ sonnet processor upgrade (and approaching 120 gb of data on this disk), i'm considering the best way to overcome this limitation, which applies to the (non 2002) quicksilver modells as well (?)

would you either go for the software solution or one of the numerous (sonnet) cards out there. there is so many of them listed on the sonnet web site that i would not know which one to look for on on ebay (used?).

tx for your input.
