Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone has any expierence with 3rd party ram. I saw memory to go.com has $69 256mb stick for the PB G4. Is this going to work like the stuff from Apple? Is this the lowest price I will find?

Thank-you,
jdog

(search around, I should know, I've been railed for my post on RAM)

But, short and sweet: I just put in my 512 that I got from macsolutions.com into my Ti, and it's working wonders. Only cost me about $340 after shipping to Hawaii, I think it was $321 before that, and it got here in 2 days. My advice is to stay away from 18004memory, and other people will say to avoid memorytogo (like I said, search the forums), but everyone has differing opinions on all of them...

Take a look at: http://eshop.macsales.com

They have a little higher prices than "Memory to go" but they assure you that meet Apple's requirements.

Hope this helps

I just got two 512 chips for my Pismo and is working great...

RAM questions are explicitly supposed to go in the peripherals forum.

Moving this there....

Go to www.ramseeker.com . Get the lowest price modules you can from whatever vendor offers good service and an unconditional guarantee.
