as seen on an earlier post, I too am having problems orinting from the internet with my DVSE/740i combination. Initially, the print is way too small to read. If I go through an extended combination of "preview" and "print ot fit" gyrations, it will then print properly scaled. I have seen the suggestion to trash all the drivers from the cd and get new from from the Epson web-site, will the "uninstall' on the cd accomplish the trashing of the drivers, or do I need to do more. Lastly, it seems as though the 740i is almost a "default" printer for iMacs, has anyone had better luck with the software/hardware from other companies?

A couple of relevent questions. I am supposing by the use of print preview that you are printing from Internet Explorer. It should print without any problems.

You should go ahead with the uninstall, reload the drivers. do the following only if you are running OS 9:
do a clean install of the Epson drivers.
Then there are four files you need to remove: Epson USBPrintClass1, Epson USBPrintClass2, Epson USBPrintClass3, and Epson USBPrintClassA. They can be found in the Extensions folder.
After doing that, everything should work like a charm.

I ran into this same problem. We were using Netscape Comm 4.5. On Epson's website in the FAQ's they address this problem. Switch to Internet Explorer for your browser and the internet printing works fine.
