I downloaded the OSX driver for my Epson Stylus Photo 750. The downloaded file is an installer (well, it claims itself installer) that "installs" a folder on the desktop. Now I have a SP750.pkg folder, inside a "Contents" folder, inside a "Resources" folder. Inside are things like: SP750.post_install (doubleclicking tells me that there is no program to open it) and SP750.pax.gz. Doubleclick on that gives a SP750.pax that, doubleclicked, has no program to open it. Furthermore there are a SP750.bom, a SP750.info, and a SP750.sizes files.
What to do, any help welcome!
Thanks in advance

The .pkg shouldn't be a folder. It should be shown as a package.

You may be able to install by using the Installer program and opening it.

Whenever I've downloaded Epson printer drivers though the .pkgs have appeared as packages so maybe you have a bad download, or a problem with your system.

Well, the world's most advanced operating system makes the same stupid things as its precursor.
A system restart did it!
