Will a Comm Slot I ethernet card work in a Comm Slot II? I see lots of modems that say they are for Comm Slot one or two, I'm wondering if its the same with ethernet, becuase the cards that specifically say Comm Slot 2 are much more expensive.

CommSlot II is based off of the PCI architecture, CommSlot I isn't. This makes II a faster interface. The cards are about the same size, but the connection to the logic board is different. Each won't physically fit in the other slot.
