Hello. Here is my situation, I have an ibook G4, running Mac OSX 10.4. My ethernet port has broken, basically, the wires inside are broken. So, i need to connect to the internet via Ethernet, and ill need something, like an Ethernet to USB Adapter, is there anything I can use?

There are a heap of cheap ones online ive found, $20ish, but ive been told by the people selling them they dont work on a Mac. That said, they dont need drivers, might they still work on a mac? The people selling them would have just read from the packet, i imagine, rather than trying them out.

If not that, what else could I do/buy?

I think it would be cheaper to get an airport card and 3rd party router.
