I had a Maxtor Diamondmax Plus 20 GB hard drive in a Pyro case. The drive was formatted with the Heat Utilities. I was sending the Pyro firewire case back for fan problems, so I hooked up the maxtor to a VST Ultratek ATA PCI card in my rev 1 BW G3. As soon as I hooked it up, I encountered problems. I got error messages that there were directory problems, so I ran Disk warrior and Norton's. Neither could fix the problems. I shut the computer down and went to eat dinner. After dinner, I powered back up and only one of the partitions (I started with 5 on the Maxtor) were left. I couldn't get the other partitions back. I tried disk set up, disk first aid, heat, Norton's, diskwarrior, and techtool Pro. None of these utilities can find the missing partitions. I tried throwing the drive back into the Pyro case, but that didn't do anything. I still can only see the one partition. Apple system profiler also only sees the one partition.

Any ideas on how to recover the lost partitions?
