I've got a pretty strange problem with a 4 MB Sony Memory Stick. I use it to take pictures with my PC100 video camera.

I can view the pictures I took on my video camera but I cannot download them to my Mac (with the Sony USB memorystick reader): it opens an endless number of empty folders.

I have also a 16 MB stick that works perfectly. If I format the stick in my PC100 I will lose all my holiday pictures, ... what can I do ?

Do not reformat your memory stick. Use the search function in this forum and search the multimedia & dv category using the search words: memory stick. You will find a thread where someone has already addressed this specific issue.
