I have a batch of TDK and Imation CDR's (blue on the reflective side), but I run into problems with 50% of these discs. When I burn audio CDs, and sometimes even data CDs, I get a "Sense Key" Error about a minute into the recording, and it leaves me with a ruined disc or partially burned audio CD every time. You'd think these discs are reliable! Now could this be a hardware problem though? I have an 4X Iomega ZipCD USB CDRW, and I connect it directly to the computer's USB port. I use Toast 5 Titanium right now, but the problem has been with me since Toast 4, so I don't think it's the software.

Has anyone experienced similar problems? Any fixes?

I, too, have had terrible luck with the TDKs... my problems are a little different than yours... When I burn using TDK disks, everything works fine and the disks verify, but when I go to use them (whether they are audio or data cds), the disks refuse to play. CD players will either spit the disk out or say there is an error. Data CD's give an error that the disk needs to be initialized. This is not using just one CD or a mac/pc thing. I get this using SCSI, USB, and firewire burners, and have tried it on both Macs and PCs.... I haven't had the same issues with imation CD-Rs... just my TDK's
