My sister owns an Epson Stylus Photo 750 and she has the following problem: When she wanted to change te color cartridge she accidently put the old one back in (don't ask me how, but hey, women and electronics...). So now the software and the printer think that the cartridge is full so when you push the button to change the cartridge it only cleans the printing heads. Any ideas on how to change it without forcing the printer mechanism?

thanks

Hi,

One way is to print until it runs out (they sometimes carry on printing for ages!), then print pictures using only one colour until the printer tells you that it is time to change again...

Most Epson printers, at least the ones I've used, have a Load/Eject button <img src="http://home.attbi.com/~stonee4/sigs/LoadEject.gif" alt=" - " />. If the 750 has one, try holding it down for about three seconds.

Hope this helps
