I really want a convenient way of copying and faxing, but here's the problems I have:
  1. I don't want a full multi-function device because I already have a great printer (HP LaserJet 1160) and I don't want to end up with what essentially would be two printers because it's not cost- or space-efficient to do so.
  2. I have a flatbed scanner (Agfa DuoScan f40) that is old and HUGE and which is great for photos but too slow for copying. Besides, the built-in driver for OS X sucks.
Basically, I'd really like to find a USB scanner with a small footprint, good OS X support. and a very good "just copy this page and print it" feature. Does such a beast exist?
