Hi, I have a new G4, and would like to connect my Apple laserwriter ll. Can I get an adapter? What kind? I'd like to avoid a PCI card.
Cheers,
Ed

Make sure that the adapter is a LocalTalk capable one. There are some adapters which look very similar but are just serial ones.

According to Griffin Technology,
http://www.griffintechnology.com/

this company has adapters (gPort, g4Port) that support LocalTalk connections also.

Thre are also products by Belkin and other companies to do this.

Walter.
