Is a Xerox P8ex laser printer (USB) Mac compatible? No Mac driver is advertised, but would apple's own laserwriter software suffice?

According to their web site, you can try calling them at (800)821-2797 if you're in the US, or via the web. I didn't see any such driver on their web site, but they might not have posted it.
Is this a good place for an argument?
