I am having two problems in OSX (since I moved to 10.1.4) that are driving me nuts:

1) my mouse for some strange reason keeps resetting itself to the factory default. I like it at the speediest setting but many MANY times it just freezes and then resets itself to the medium speed. I go into the control panel and change it back but it then (after just a bit of time) just again freezes and resets itself.

2) I can not seem to make the clock in the menu bar change back to standard (AM/PM) time from military time. I had it in standard time but one day it just changed and I CAN NOT find a way to change it back!!!

you might want to go into system prefs >> date & time. Is your time setting here 12-hr. or 24? Whatever setting it is, change it to the opposite setting. Now change it back. Change it to 12-hr if it isn't already there. Did that work?

I read that at macfixit.com, though the solution may have been posted here as well. And 10.1.5 is out now. It might fix your mouse problem.

you won't find 24 hour/12 hour clock in sys pref->date and time.

it's in sys pref->international->time tab. why is it here? i have no idea, but it's certainly a pain when you're looking for it, and you can't find it
