I am planning to buy a Canon S40 digital camera and a 1GB IBM microdrive to go with it. It seems that I can slide the microdrive into a PC card, which can in turn fit into the PC card slot on my Titanium. My question is: does this work under OSX now? or I have to go back to OS9? Any other advice on IBM microdrive and digital cameras will be appreicated too. Thanks

Aren't microdrives Type I (thicker) than the type II? Check to see if the PCMCIA (PC Card or cardbus) adapter is compatible with the type you need.
My guess is it SHOULD work.

Yes, it works under OSX (10.1.3+)
I have a 1GB Microdrive that I used on vacation w/ a borrowed Canon.
The drive just goes into the PCMCIA adaptor and into the slot. Mounts
just like a drive and the builtin picture app auto-launches.
