Does anyone use this mouse for gaming and if so do you reccomend it or not reccomend it? I am deciding between this and the Logitech Optical.

i got one and i have no problems with it... one of the few decent things with MS's name on it... my friend who gave it to me replaced it with the logitech one for 2 reasons only.... the logitec had a blue LED, and it fit his hand better, but not because of better performance. he also used to make money playing in Q2, UT and SiN tournaments... so he qualifies as a gamer, i think.

Better try an optical mouse before you buy,

Atleast for gaming. I love them when Photoshopping, but for fast- paced games, they don't suit my playing style. Very fast moves might well confuse the mouse.
