I am wondering if anyone has any ideas of a good , cheap (under $250) digital camera. I would like to have one that is mainly for stills, but can also record short movies. The Logitech Quickcam Traveler seemed to suit all my needs, except one, it is not Mac compatible! Any suggestions?

Hey Jen. I bought a PD-4090 Superdrive camera made by Panasonic for 600 bucks last summer. The rub is that I've seen it going for 379 plus a 100 dollar rebate making the total cost of 279 dollars! It will hold about 440 superfine ( 1.3 mp) pictures. I'm really pleased with the quality and my Mac reads the disks just fine. Plus it uses the iMation superdisks which only cost about 10 bucks each.
