How does it compare with iMovie?

You can't compare it to iMovie. It takes up where iMovie leaves off. It encodes and formats already edited video (saved as a QuickTime file) so that it can be burned to DVD. If you want to check it out, go to Formac's web site and download the software. There's a link to it on the devideon product page. Without the Superdrive "dongle", you'll only be able to run it in the Trial mode, which allows you to encode up to 10 minutes of video. If you have the Apple DVD Player application, you can play the DVD-ready video from hard disk.
